So my hubbie %26amp; I are going to be Aliens. All green. I bought the makeup and it is a green body paint. Then you have to allpy a setting spray, and a special remover will be used to get it off. I was thinking thoug, how am I going to get this on my face and be able to look good. I am going for a ';hot alien'; look. LOL. How do I go about this around my eyes, eybrows, and hairline without it looking goopy or gross?Halloween Makeup Help please..any professionals out there?
I would be careful around your eyes and mouth, and if you want a ';hot'; alien look I would outline my eyes in black liquid liner and do green shadows. This works well because you wont have to put any of the body paint around your eyes too much. Try Manic Panic, they make green lipstick.Halloween Makeup Help please..any professionals out there?
Use a foundation Brush. Not a sponge or your fingers but a true foundation brush. It spreads evenly and is easy to clean. Be careful what you put on your face though, moisturize first.

Makeup artists, professionals, enthusiasts, please help!?
I'm an amateur freelance makeup artist. I was called for a photoshoot tomorrow. Could you please teach me how to do makeup on men? Well, my makeup aren't the very expensive ones; and aren't that complete either. But, I just really want to have an idea. Could you please help me?Makeup artists, professionals, enthusiasts, please help!?

1) Take your cues from the photographer %26amp; art director.
2) Have mattifier or sheer powder on hand to minimize oil. Have a bit of lip balm or Vaseline on hand for lips. Vaseline can also be used to tame brows %26amp; just touch to lengthen lashes. You can use clear mascara instead - it's a bit neater %26amp; won't smear.
3) Check out some men's fashion magazines or websites to see if you have stuff on hand to create some of the looks. Practice them in your head; imagine what you'd do.
Good luck!
Makeup for me. I would suggest you make sure that his skin is clean. If you decide to use foundation...I suggest mixing it with a moisturizer...so it looks more natural and dewy. Powder with loose powder or press powder if you need more coverage of a matte finish. Avoid the cheeks. Then add concealer according.
Then I would use a bronzer that does not have any shimmer or glitter in it. I would apply a dash of light cheek color.
For the lips...I would just line it with a natural lip color and add some lip balm on top of it to blend. T
Then for the eyes...I usually just add a eye makeup base to the lids and then apply some mascara to the lash line (very lightly)and use a clean brush to brush it through.
DO NOT USE EYELINER or heavy at least.. its ugly. Also clear mascara might be a good idea, it increases eyelash volume without color, and some light concealer to hide any blemishes and cheek bone highlights, since a sculptured look is usually desirable.

Makeup professionals: Need Help!?
I have baby blue eyes. What color eyeliner and mascara would make my eyes pop? What color eye shadows should i use?Makeup professionals: Need Help!?
Eyeshadows- browns and golds
If you have light hair- brown eyeliner and mascara.
Dark hair- black eyeliner and mascara.Makeup professionals: Need Help!?
I would use natural and sandy colors. You can line your eyes with a khaki brown and smudge it into your lash line and top with black-brown mascara. If you want to use a shadow, try Cover Girl's Shimmering Sands Trio - dust the lightest color under your eyebrow, the middle color on your eyelid and the deep chocolate color in your crease. You can top off with a clear shimmer gloss.
you want to use a black eyeliner BUT not think like you see in pictures. some of the best eyeliner ive used is the NYC. It's cheapest and stays on during the day.
You also want to use a thickening mascara. I personally love the big flirt by kohls

not too pricey for the best mascra EVER!!
Uhmmm for eye shdow you want to use browns golds and creams.
covergirl is way good for this. also if you can find the eyeshdow cream the stays on all day and is amazing!!
Good luck :]]
nothing too intense, stick with earthy tones. like brown, gold. if you have eyes that stand out, too much make up will make them disappear. and with eye liner its best to use a dark brown. its close to black without being too severe.
and black mascara is just fine, unless you have blonde lashes. sometimes black is too much and it's good to go with a dark brown.
eyeliner and mascara-brown
eyeshadow-brown and pink maybe dark blues if youre daring
purples and browns with black linerdiv myspace

i really really need one. preferably in mesa, az. or just in that area. like phoenix, gilbert, or tempe would be fine too. anything! i just need help! thanks!!Does anyone know of any makeup/hair/pedicure professionals who will come to your house for a party?
Try contacting a local salon. Ask if there is someone who will do this for you.
My sister met a makeup girl at a department store and asked her to come to the house to do her makeup for my wedding. Just ask around, and you'll find someone.Does anyone know of any makeup/hair/pedicure professionals who will come to your house for a party?
Mary Kay will come to your house and do a party and do makeup for you and/or all your guests.... I am not really sure about the other things,,pedicure/hair...call around, someone is bound to know something!!!!! good luck
i know mary kay and avon will come and do your make up and you can go to a hair school like rudy and kelly and talk to them about it
girl, I have a cousin that do professionals one, but we are in n.y.
Arizona state law prohibits cosmetologists, estheticians, and nail techs to perform services outside of a licensed salon unless they are approved by the licensing salon to do so. What this means for you is that you can't just have a cosmetologist, nail tech, or esthetician you've met come into your house. You have to legally go through a salon and request this service otherwise the esthetician/cosmetologist/nail tech could loose their license. I'd guess that many salons would want to steer clear of this as they do in my state because the reasoning behind the salon license having to back up the worker is that their insurance would cover the worker if for any reason the conditions in the house weren't sanitary and someone got an infection. It's a liability for them and they could loose their license.
You should be able to find a makeup artist to come out to your house since makeup artists aren't licensed they are certified. You may find an artist who can do hair and will style it for you but if you want cutting, coloring, or anything permanent then you have to have someone licensed. For nails, if you do find someone who will go against the licensing board and come to your house without a salon permit then they are probably dicey. Nails get infected very easily and nail areas have to be kept insanely clean because the nail bed is so vulnerable to infection. Your home wouldn't have the same sanitation as a salon is required to keep so it's best for you to go and have the nails done in a sterile controlled environment. There are very few states who allow for ';mobile salons'; because of the liability.
Mary Kay does house parties. I've found them to be excellent.
you can prob go to any of the places around your area and ask them if they will come .. they prob wont mind as long as you are willing to pay the price .. other wise i would check any spas in your area

i have a semi comming up and i want to look gorgeous! How can i use contouring on my BIG nose?(makeup professionals ony plz)?
I've heard professionals put lighter makeup on the bridge or top of the nose and darker makeup on the sides. Obviously not a huge difference in shade, so it doesn't look silly. This helps narrow the nose. How can i use contouring on my BIG nose?(makeup professionals ony plz)?
Not a professional but since you aren't getting any other responses, I've always heard that if you make your foundation or powder a little bit lighter in the middle of your nose it makes it look thinner.
