How do you make your makeup look professional, but you do it yourself?

I have dark brown hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin. I also have blemishes on my cheeks, but I want to know how to make the makeup your wearing look professional. I am also on a budget, so what products should I use?How do you make your makeup look professional, but you do it yourself?
-Get decent products, although drugstore will do in a pinch. Sephora products are great, though.

-Go to the makeup counter at the mall or better yet, one of the people at Sephora and ask them to do your makeup. Pay close attention to what they do, what brushes, products, and colors they use, and such.

-Watch tutorials on youtube. There are quite a few good ones. How do you make your makeup look professional, but you do it yourself?
Get lots of pictures of professional make up and copy them

You just have to keep practicing I'm afraid lol
unfortuanately everything that will look like a professional did it is expensive but well worth it

i would never buy anything from a drug store but like eyeshadow

make sure you use a foundation brush

and a good face primar (I suggest MAC)

its also all about technique

be light and subtle i suggest to everyone not to use eyeshadow

it makes most ppl look dreary

also put some white eyeliner on the insides of your eyes

it will open them up

practice. be as natural as you can be. use mineral foundation/concealer for a sheerer coverage, only use eyeliner on the top lashes, keep skin clean, keep lips natural or nude.
I have been doing makeup unprofessionally for years now and people always ask if I had a makeup artist do it. I would say go to your local drugstore and get Maybelline or Revlon (both of those are great). Look at pictures in magazines and practice a lot. That's how I learned where things should be applied and how to blend the colors. Since you have brown hair and eyes try shades of brown and purple. Both of those should look really good on you.
Ovbiously those guys above only care about sex lol!

Well if you get some brown ( 2 different shades, copper and dark) and also some gold eyeshadow i can explain from there...

1. Put the gold on your eyelid and go right up to the eyebrow (but not clown-like)

2. Get the copper colour and put it on your eyelid over the gold (but not on the bit near the eyebrow)

3. Get the dark brown and put it on the outside corner of your eyes, top and bottom and smudge it in a bit.

4. finish with some eyeliner inside your eye and some black mascara, should look smouldry and sexy if you do it right..

first, apply your foundation with a foundation brush instead of your fingers or a sponge. then apply a concealor over the foundation and blend. ...ALWAYS USE A MOISTURIZER BEFORE!!!!!! (that should be first!) dont apply blush only to the cheeks but also sweep it across the forehead and top of the nose. I';M RUNNING OUT OF STUFF TO TELL YOU!!!! but maybe these will help!
wear a suit with a tight mini skirt
Wear a tight, low-cut, midriff-baring, white cotton blouse; Victoria鈥檚 Secret red push-up bra. A short denim micro mini-skirt; white thong. Red high-heeled pumps. No stockings
