What are the steps to wear makeup as professional ?

I am on the stage for over 20 years and here is my suggestion to you.

First. Before you upply you new make up. Clean your face from left-overs of old make up. If your skin is very porrous use lotion to close your pores. (many available at beauty supply stores and department stores, even after shave lotion will do.) If you have blamishes or pimles or acney, cover them first with makeup stick (also ask at the beauty supply).

Second. Chose your foundation tone makeup as close as possible to your natural skin tone. If your skin is oily use water proof makeup. it may be heavier but will not run under the stage light and from your skin oil. Also, there are solutions available that will slow oil prodiction of your skin.

Important hint!!! do not forget to touch your ears and your neck and part of the neck behund your ears. other wise you will end up look like you are waring a mask. *smile*

Third. Use one shade darker tone to inhance (or correct) natural structure of your face, applying it slightly under the chick bones, and anywhere you might want your face to look thiner. (coud be under chin, both sides on your nose, temples, etc.. according to your face structructure all optional)

Fouth. Opposit effect can be achived with makeup one shade lighter, if you want to make any part of your face appeare to be more promenant. (around your lips, just above your chick bones, top of your nose, just above your eye brows.. etc.. all optional)

Fifth. Blush. You can use one or two tones of blush. be very gentle with it. blend the sides of it well with the foundation to creat smooth blend. The shape of the blush you apply will depand again on the shape of your face. If your face is very long make it more rounded. It it is rounded make it elongeted. Apply it just under the chick bones fallow natural structure of your face. Almost invisible touch of light blush can be applyed to the temples and front of the chin. Just one almost invisible stroke will do the tric. Creating more younger fresh look.

Six. Shades. Very much depand on what accation you are doing make up for and what are your going to ware and color of your eyes and hair. Also, structiure of your eyes. For the general use, you can even use the color same as your foundation just two shades darker and again be careful not over do it. But here with out seing you I can't give you speccific advices. For the stage, makeup can be more contrasting and to make your eyes bigger you can place a tiny pink dot in the corner of your eye (one that is at your nose)and do not join the outlines on the oposit side. But I think I would have to show it to you to prevent missunderstanding *smile*

Seven. Eye lashes. Make shure that after you done with it, you brush them up to separate each of the lushes. No clutter!!

Eight. Lips. You will need 2 tones, pencil and gloss. Apply slightly lighter foundation just around your lips going a little bit over on to the lips. It fills the lines on the skin and will make your lips more promenant and edges look really sharp after you upply outliner. On the upper lip you use slightly darker tone, after you apply outliner pencil, slightly blend edges of it on to the lip. So, Edge of the lip is looking sharp but you don't really see the sharp line going around your lips. And finally as an option you can use a gloss if you like.

Nine. Compact powder. After you done with everything. Using a very wide brush and tranparent perhaps just a half tone lighter lose powder. Apply it with a wide light strokes all over your face ever so gently. Just one almost invisible layer. To blend everything, take any gloss away, create just about transparent prcelain feel and look of your skin as if there is nothing on it.

Remember all of it has to be done in moderation and accordig to an event you are goig to.

There are many books available about professional makeup. If you are really interested, I suggest you to get some and read it.

BTW, sorry for misspellings *smile*.What are the steps to wear makeup as professional ?
the least is the best is what i was instructed when i was is beauty schoolWhat are the steps to wear makeup as professional ?
1. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry with a towel.

2. Apply a moisturizer and wait a few minutes for it soak in.

3. If your make-up needs to last a while, put on a primer first. Then put on a liquid foundation. Apply powder (pressed for dry skin, loose for oily skin.) to set the foundation.

4. Apply a light blush to the apples of the cheeks.

5. If its daytime, apply a light eyeshadow and a thin liner on the top only. If its nighttime, also apply a darker color in the crease and line the top and bottom. Apply 2 coats mascara.

6. Line the lips with a color that is almost the same color as your lips. Fill in with lipstick and cover with similarly-colored gloss.
Use natural colors...Not too much though
professional doesnt mean heavy make-up. i means looking approachable and sophisticated and educated. go natural. wear a color eyeshadow that enhances your eyes but doesnt over power them. if you wear eyeliner wear a brown one and do a very thin line. mascera always looks great as long as its not clumpy. maybelline is great for mascera! the lip color is up to you! you can switch it up whenever you want! apply concealor if you have a few blemishes. apply bronzer to your cheeks. (not too much).
