I am 17 years old and would like to become a pro makeup artist but I don't know what to do after I graduate or anything. Also, does anyone know what the average income is of an artist? Can someone help me?I want to become a professional makeup artist?

That sounds like an exciting career! just be sure to study up on a good school for this. Don't fall for a scam. Check with a local beauty school. Good Luck!

to start, try to get a position at one of the higher brand cosmetic counters at the mall (chanel, lancome, clinique, or mac). $10-$15/hour depending. each brand will have their own training sessions and continuing edu. courses. best of luck!!
it's very hard to have a solid career just as a makeup artist unless you are more than talented and really want it.
