How do I become a professional makeup artist in Houston, Texas?

My husband is a photograher, and I was wondering were in Houston, Texas could I go to train as a professional make-up artists. I've only seen schools in California.





I've made over a lot of his models for shoots (and Im pretty good)... however, I want professional training.





Also... Its INSANE for me to go to california at this point (I have a small child) so thats not even an option.





I was also interested in purchasing a full kit..Does anyone happen to know where to look for those? Does MAC sell them?? or Must you be a freelance artist for them???

Hi, Just wondering if you ever found a school to study to become a MUA? I just moved to SugarLand and would like to find a place to train. I inquired about info from an at home study course called ElitePro. I wanted to get some feedback before I make a decision. Thanks for any help. Report Abuse
