How would one go about getting a career in professional makeup?

You know, putting on makeup professionally. Basically on movie sets or something, like learning how to make people look like aliens by applying prosthetics and making people look really old (Like Adam Sandler in Click, lol). I think this would be a fun job. Hell, even just putting makeup on girls and doing little makeovers at some counter would work, as long as it was a good idea to make a career out of. I assume you would have to go get your cosmetology license, but then what?

OK, I don't no EXACTLY how to answer this question but what you need to do is look in your phonebook. Do you know of any beauty schools in your area? Well, if you don't, look in your phonebook. Givwe them a call and ask then if they have any idea about what to do, they may provide this service(or class) or they may know someone who does. Or, if you find what that beuty school offers, then apply there!How would one go about getting a career in professional makeup?
