Do I have the makeup skills that would allow me to be a professional makeup artist?

Next year i'm going to school to become a makeup artist.


And right now i do peoples makeup for parties and events for a small fee.


I haven't had any schooling for it but i think i do a pretty good job.


What do you think?

Just to add my ';two cents';... EVERYONE CAN ::NOT:: NEATLY PUT ON MAKEUP LIKE THAT (so screw the negativity that I've read). You do have skills babygirl. I'm actually just getting started with the makeup hustle. I'm not going to school for it, though (it's going to be something I do as long as ppl want to pay me...lol).

anyways, i think you could become a really good makeup artist even at sephora or mac, although your looks are a little bit the same with just different colors so try to spice it up a bit but you are really good! and if you don't make youtube tutorials i think you should really try that because you do really good makeup and i would watch your videos.

yeah u defintily do have some talent. but the thing that REALLY bugs me is that you got makeup in the eyebrows and it looks really gross and messy. otherwise, yeah, u could do makeup for ppl at parties, but i say vary it up and do other crazy things than just ';smoke';.
they are a little much for everyday wear, but with some lessons and a few neutral shades of makeup, youll be set for everyday and party makeup. i think you can do it!
love your work, you're really great at what you do, I don't think you necessarily have to go to school but the credentials look good on paper
