MAKEUP TIPS!!! For professional photography!? Please help!?

I met this clothes designer at a party who just graduated from fashion school and she wants me to model for her. She has a photographer and I would like to know how I should do my makeup for the pictures. Whats the best kind of make up for that?MAKEUP TIPS!!! For professional photography!? Please help!?
My sister is a model and I often do her makeup for photo shoots.

Even if you have good skin, you need to use foundation to keep your skin tone even. Use a shade that matches your neck, not what color you think looks good on your face. If you just match your face, it will look like your neck and face are 2 different colors.

Try not to use anything too shiny/sparkly on your lips, eyes, or cheeks-- it creates a glare effect.

Natural colors work best for natural pictures, but there are times where a photographer will prefer heavier eye makeup or darker lips.

For lip color, choose something about 1 shade darker than your natural lip color, just to make your lips stand out a little bit. Lip liner is bad!

Blush should be a natural color, slightly darker than your natural skin color with a hint of pink, peach, or gold depending on your skin color.

Eyeshadow should be natural colors, or colors that blend well on your skin. Light purples, light pinks, and light browns look good on light skin; if you have darker skin, browns, golds, and cream colors (in my opinion), look best. You can also match your eye shadow to the clothes, but this can be tricky. Also-- don't put any color other than a highlighter color (such as cream or white) above the crease of your eyelid.

Use a light mascara- clumps are bad. My sister often uses false lashes with a light coat of mascara over them to make her lashes look thicker. Thick mascara is not pretty in pictures.

You have a few choices on eyeliner. You can go very minimal using a light brown or purplish shade, lightly lining right along your lashes. You can also go a bit thicker for a more dramatic look, but this can look messy very easily. Since this is your first time, I recommend light liner. There are more mays to do your eyeliner, but it would be a bit difficult to understand.

If this designer chose you, she obviously likes the way YOU look, so don't change the way you look too much. In my opinion, picture look the best when you bring out your natural features. Good luck with the shoot =)MAKEUP TIPS!!! For professional photography!? Please help!?
Before applying your makeup, make sure that you have cleansed, exfoliated, toned and moisturised. This will make the skin appear brighter and more radiant. Use a good quality, thick-formulated foundation and a light-reflecting concealer that is two shades lighter than your skin colour to hide dark under-eye circles and blemishes. Use bronzer rather than blusher to bring out your cheekbones and contour your face. When it comes to eye shadow, it's really down to personal preference, but make sure that your crease in your eye socket is defined (maybe use a light colour all over the lid, then a colour a few shades darker for your crease). Also, highlight your eye brow bone with a soft white colour. Eye shadow colours should be matte so that it looks more natural. Use a lengthening and volumising mascara (I like using Maybelline's False Lash Effect Mascara). For your lips, try using a lipliner in one shade darker than your natural lip colour, then applying the same colour lipstick over the top. Hope this helped! :) x
depending on the type of modeling, some designers like very bold and lots of makeup others like very lil makeup, ask before u go to your shoot.

make sure everything looks very clean, and apply it well, cameras show everything so u dont want it looking sloppy.

just ask her how she wants your makeup, and i would say the best brand would be mac. its good to start with cuz its not as expensive as the stuff i would use for modeling, the more and more shoots you get start ordering your makeup online, the expensive, high quality stuff is truely the best for modeling, cuz if applied right it always looks very clean and professional.

good luck honey[:

During photoshoots, usually, a make up artist will be on set to do your make up, unless the photographer specifically told you to do your own make up. I'd bring some lipgloss, eyeliner, and mascara, just in case, but other than that, a make up artist should be there.
You don't want to use sunscreen for the day (just for the day). SPF reflects light and makes skin look greasy. Use a good foundation to look as flawless as possible. The rest of the face kind of depends on the theme of the dress/photoshoot. If no instruction if given, then go with a natural eye look, peach blush and berry stain lip product for the lips.
great link even shows you how to do it
