Give me Directions how to do my makeup like a professional please!?

To do a makeup job appropriate for the office, the following is the most complete.

Use a good moisturizer on your entire face

Put your base on over this immediately – the moisturizer allows it to spread evenly. You can use your fingertips to do it quickly, much like you did the moisturizer, then use a sponge to even it out

BE SURE to blend it all the way to your hairline and stroke down towards your neck to avoid a “mask” line. If you can see it clearly on your neck then you are using a base too dark.

Place a touch of colored shadow on the inside corner of your eye. Use a neutral tone for the lid, and a slightly (SLIGHTLY) darker shade at the outmost corner and also run a fine line of it across the crease. Take a firm short brush and blend the colors. I just scuff it back and forth until the lines are nicely blurred between the colors

Be sure you do not have a long dark path extending out from the outer corners – that is for nighttime and dramatic flair only.

Use a lighter color all the way to the brow. A very pale skin tone or white are best on Caucasian skin. Blend this as well.

If you need an eyeliner (blondes and redheads usually do) be sure to use a soft tip and basically try to put it on your lashes. This results in the closest line to your lash line. I’ve found I can also use a flat brush and brown shadow to creat a softer line in a pinch. The best eyeliner I have ever found, and is often used by professionals, is a cake liner. This is an old fashioned style block of makeup that you get wet to form a nice paste (not too runny) and a very sharp brush to put it on. It holds FOREVER.

If you feel you really need blush, barely puff a soft tone similar to your skin on the apples of your cheeks (make a big goofy grin and the roundest part under your eyes is the “apple”) I never use blush because I use a very thin layer of base and allow my natural skin tone to show through.

Use a poofy brush and puff soft neutral powder over your whole very gently. Brush the excess off or even flip on your blow dryer for a quick second. This is a great way to get rid of any extra powder anywhere.

Use a neutral mascara – only use black if that is your natural lash color, otherwise it looks really bad. Blot the brush first on a tissue – gets rid of blobs. Run the tip along your lower lash line. You don’t need mush. Stroke downwards once, then stroke upwards only once or twice. If you need to use the tip to touch up the inner and outer corners where you might have missed. DON’T TOUCH UNTIL IT IS DRY! Do not use a lash comb until it is dry.

A neutral lipstick is best. To test lipsticks dab on the end of your pinky. This is actually closest to your lip color. The back of your hand is too close to your cheek. Use a tiny liner brush to line your lips with the lipstick. Good way to save on lip liner. Then fill in and blot off the excess. Good stay-on lipstick is Mac, it does take time to dry and you have to use a thin layer, but once it is on the stuff lasts FOREVER. You actually have to soak a cotton ball in baby oil and hold it against your lips to remove it. I love the stuff. No reapplying, no goofy lips after lunch…. It’s great for dates too. No smooching smears.

That’s it! For an evening look, use darker or more dramatic color shadow (I love a deep purple in the corner and blending out to gold with a dark brown outer corner) and heavier eye liner and darker lipstick. Go get ‘em!Give me Directions how to do my makeup like a professional please!?
A Makeup Professional has to ask herself these questions:

*What is her client's best features, and how should she highlight them?

*What is her client's worst features, and how should she downplay them?

*What is her client's skinshade - fair/light, medium/tan, deep/dark?

*What is her client's skintone - cool, warm, neutral?

*What color is her clients eyes?

*What is her client's faceshape - oval, round, square, heart?

*What is the look the client is trying to acheive - natural, casual, romantic, trendy, retro, dramatic, sexy, flirty, etc?

***So with that said, I cannot give you directions to do your makeup, if you do not tell me the things above.***Give me Directions how to do my makeup like a professional please!?
Less is more!! Wear makeup that keeps you looking your age and highlights your features. Only use concealer to hide small imperfections if needed. A drag queen is not really pretty!

Also, buy a simple white eyeliner pencil from any brand and highlight your inner eye corners, closest to your nose and then apply on bottom eyelid (before eyelashes begin) to make eyes appear brighter.

eyeshadow- Covergirl has really good palattes of more than one color. Find the palatte with the goldest colors.
