OK, I need to buy some makeup. And I need some help. What is the difference between Concealer and Foundation? And I need help picking out the perfect shade. I'm going to list a couple foundations and concealers and can you guys help me pick the perfect shade for my skin? This is a picture of me: http://s537.photobucket.com/albums/ff339鈥?/a>

WHat is powder? I forgot to ask in the beginning. I know I probably sound really sound really stupid right now, but the only real times I wear makeup is when I have to go to a formal event, when my mom does it for me, or when I'm in a stage production, when I don't have to buy it, and the makeup artist backstage does it for me. And also, which foundation and concealer do you think is the best? As in, which ones should I buy. I'm only getting one foundation and one concealer.

Thank you guys SO MUCH!!!!Makeup Question... Makeup Experts (Preferably Professional Beauticians) With Experience PLEASE Help!?
the difference - concealer is for specific spots on your skin - you have a blemish you're trying to cover or whatever. the foundation is then for your entire face - to even out your skin tones.. and the powder goes on last to soften up the look to make it appear like you haven't just covered your entire face with globs of paint.

what i believe -all this is too much. and i think it looks worse the more you put on. i personally go with just concealer - or you could pair up a concealer with powder. but skip the foundation. as for the skin tone, that's something that you're really going to have to go to the store and match them up to your hard.. the colors are too close to differentiate on the computer. Foundation is used to even out your skin ton its like a base for the rest of your makeup

Concealer is to conceal what the foundation doesn't

Powder foundation is better for people with oily skin and pressed powder is good for over your makeup to make it last longer

Idk what would go best with your skintone tho

Hope I Helped
